Proctorial Board

There will be a selected proctorial board of GDC, Paukhal, which will provide a platform for inculcation of value based education of liberal democratic society. The aim of this body will be to maintain the general discipline of the campus and to act as an advisory body in the field of college administration. It will also act as grievance redrassal cell of the students and elected student union. The main function of this body will be to facilitate a healthy interaction between students and college administration and prepare the young citizens imbued with civic responsibility. The board is headed by the chief proctor under the delegated authority of the college principal.

Functions of Proctorial Board

The board will perform the following functions-

  • As an administrative body
  • To issue Identity Cards to bonafide students and to monitor them in the premises;to have frequent open dialogue with the students and note down their grievances and sympathetically find out their practical solution.
  • It will have power to suggest disciplinary action by the principal after proper enquiry.
  • To motivate the students to keep the college premises neat and clean.
  • To instruct the students not to cause damage to the various college properties.
  • To ensure that students maintain their classroom discipline.
  • To ensure that the vehicles of the students are kept at the proper place. The members of the proctorial board will engage themselves wholeheartedly in the task of maintaining discipline in the institution. They will ensure that justice is done to all students irrespective of their caste and creed.
