Ragging is strictly prohibited in the institution and its hostels. The College maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging in any form.

Ragging constitutes one or more of the following acts:

• Any conduct that causes physical or psychological harm

• Teasing, abuse, or humiliation

• Forcing students to perform inappropriate acts

• Financial extortion or coercion

• Any act affecting mental health or dignity

The College follows the regulations laid down by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and other statutory authorities.

• To prevent ragging inside and outside the campus

• To create awareness among students

• To maintain a safe academic environment

• To take immediate disciplinary action against offenders

The institution strictly adheres to:

• UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions

• Supreme Court directives on anti-ragging

Any student found guilty shall be liable for:

• Suspension from classes

• Expulsion from hostel

• Cancellation of admission

• Filing of FIR

• Rustication from institution

• Withholding scholarships
