Ragging is strictly prohibited in the institution and its hostels. The College maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging in any form.
Ragging constitutes one or more of the following acts:
Any conduct that causes physical or psychological harm
Teasing, abuse, or humiliation
Forcing students to perform inappropriate acts
Financial extortion or coercion
Any act affecting mental health or dignity
The College follows the regulations laid down by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and other statutory authorities.
To prevent ragging inside and outside the campus
To create awareness among students
To maintain a safe academic environment
To take immediate disciplinary action against offenders
The institution strictly adheres to:
UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions
Supreme Court directives on anti-ragging
Any student found guilty shall be liable for:
Suspension from classes
Expulsion from hostel
Cancellation of admission
Filing of FIR
Rustication from institution
Withholding scholarships
